Samy's is now proud to offer web-based printing of your digital photos! Transfer your photos to us electronically. Samy’s Lab uses Kodak paper and chemistry to give you richer, brighter, more compelling colors. Use your time to capture more memories. The prints can be returned to you via USPS or UPS. In addition, you may choose to pick them up at any one of our five Southern California locations, while you shop the store for other goodies.

How much do you charge for your prints?

How should I set up my files?
All files should be sized to the print size of your order. In addition, please send an 8-bit JPEG file that is PC friendly, RGB at 320dpi resolution.

What is the largest print I can make from my camera?
Image quality is highly dependent on file resolution. Below are our recommendations for the highest quality prints from your camera:

Are adjustments made to my photos in the lab?
Our photo lab will adjust the color, density and contrast of your photos, to guarantee the best possible prints. Please request "no adjustments" if you have done the corrections yourself and have run tests with Samy's Lab. In addition, we will print the frames to fit the size of print you ordered. If you would like the frame to remain the size at which you sized it, also say "no adjustments".

Why are Samy's lab prints better than any other lab?
In addition to using Kodak paper and chemistry to ensure archivability, our printers have all come from a professional printing background and have been tested and passed the Kodak color blindness test. You may also agree that it is cheaper and easier to let us print for you than to do it yourself.

Where can I pick up my prints?
You may pick up your prints at any of our five locations, or we'll ship them to you! Please check our store locations for addresses and phone numbers... or just fill out your shipping information during the print ordering process!

When will my prints be done?
Your prints will be ready approximately 4 to 5 working days from the time you send them in.

Do I need to download the software that pops up on my screen?
Yes. You will only have to download the plug in one time. It is quick and easy and allows you to place your order. You can also download the PrintWizard Manager to handle your printing without going through the website.

How can my friends see my photos?
Click on the SHARE button before you place your order. This will prompt you for the email addresses of the intended recipients. Samy's will allow them to view your images and place and order for themselves.

Why does it take some images longer to upload?
The upload time is dependent on two variables: your internet connection and the size of your file. Your file size should be relative to the size of print you are ordering. You will not get a better 4x6 if you size it for an 11x14.
